A new retail development is taking shape in one of Central Florida’s most desirable commercial corridors. Spearheaded by Forness Properties, Park Maitland Square will be located at 1351 S Orlando Avenue and Circle Drive, bringing a curated boutique shopping experience to the heart of Maitland’s downtown district.
The project is situated on a 1.08-acre commercial parcel, that was once home to the Buca Di Beppo Italian restaurant. The site will boast 90 on-site parking spaces, offering a generous parking ratio of 11.15 spaces per 1,000 square feet. Monument signage and prime frontage along S Orlando Avenue offer excellent visibility and exposure, while the surrounding area- anchored by upscale retail, dining, and residential neighborhoods- positions the project for long-term success.
The planned improvements will offer a total gross building area of 8,071 square feet with four units for tenants to choose from. These spaces will range in size from 1,546 square feet to 2,468 square feet, and are all currently offered under a negotiable triple net lease structure. The new development plans to accommodate a mix of boutique retailers, service providers, and lifestyle brands. While there have been no tenant announcements as of yet, interest is expected to build quickly as the project moves toward its anticipated completion in spring 2026.
